There were lots of people attending this year’s Apple Harvest Festival in Ithaca this past weekend. The weather was perfect, not too hot or too cold. We had to walk a little bit from where we parked to get to the fun, but it was worth it.
One thing that I was looking forward to getting was some apple cider donuts for my son, but the line was ALWAYS so long, that we never got any. 😦 Here is a shot I took trying to show how long the line was to show my son why he didn’t get any donuts.
The blue tent top up ahead there is the donut tent. And although this picture makes it look like maybe it isn’t really that long of a line the line had a couple of zigzags in it that made it longer than it appears. And it was never any shorter each and every time we went back to check on it!!! Oh well. 🙂
We saw this old theater on one side of The Commons and I grabbed this photo.
Inside a little shopping center where we saw several little shops and eateries we also saw this metal statue holding a glass ball that I realized was supposed to be a bubble after reading the plaque at the bottom.
Here is a link where you can read about the artist James Seaman.
All in all, we had a great time and I hope to go back next year, and maybe even have my own craft booth. Thanks for reading and I hope you have a blessed day.
